Abstract

This project aims to narrate, contextualize and disseminate the knowledge produced by the Department of Adapted Physical Activity Studies (DEAFA) from the School of Physical Education (FEF) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). The department's research allows us to think about different types of bodies in Physical Education, sports and health, such as the elderly, individuals with disabilities, obesity and chronic non-communicable diseases. This involves not only biological, but also social, cultural and pedagogical issues, among others. Given the potential of the interdisciplinary approach, we propose to produce narrative reports on DEAFA studies, in text and audio (podcasts), focusing on intersecting with researches from other departments and exploring life histories, scientific scenarios and the academic work process. The circulation of the materials will take place predominantly in the podcast Oxigênio, distributed on Rádio Unicamp and other media, and in ComCiência magazine, both vehicles for the science communication and science journalism of Unicamp's Laboratory for Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor).
