Abstract

The aim of this project is to study the fundamentals of the theory of general relativity and, more specifically, the Mathisson-Papapetrou-Dixon formalism for particles with spin. As a concrete example, we will analyze in detail the geodesic deviation from circular orbits in the Schwarzschild spacetime. (AU)
