Abstract

The present research aims to study the effects of the common use of cover crops with nitrogen rates on the yield and quality of seeds obtained in a bean cultivar IAC Sintonia, in winter crop with no-tillage straw irrigation. The experiment will be conducted in the Cerrado region, at the Fazenda de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão (FEPE), belonging to the Faculty of Engineering (FE / UNESP - Ilha Solteira Campus), located in Selvíria, MS.The experimental design will be randomized blocks, with the treatments obtained from the factorial 8 x 2 (8 set of cover plants x 2 nitrogen doses). Initially the cover crops will be sown (Pearl millet, Brachiaria ruziziensis, gray Velvet bean, Serraceno Wheat, Pearl millet + gray Velvet bean, Pearl millet + Serraceno Wheat, Brachiaria ruziziensis + gray Velvet bean and B. ruziziensis + Serraceno Wheat). After management of cover crops will be sown the bean cultivar IAC Sintonia in no-tillage system. Nitrogen will be applied at stage V4-3 using absence and the recommended dose for high yields. (AU)
