Abstract

This postdoctoral project aims to support research on Brazil's response to the Covid-19 epidemic. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for collecting epidemiological information such as bulletins and predictive models about COVID-19 epidemic in order to inform the narrative of the Brazilian case as well as explore if the decisions taken by the Brazilian government (federal, state and, if possible, municipal) were taken according the World Health Organization guidelines. In addition, based on the epidemiological data and information collected, the literature review, and the findings about the political response to COVID-19, recommendations about how responding to public health emergencies and crisis management will be made.
