Abstract The present proposal is aimed to explore the phase diagrams of vortex-lattice patterns, varying the strength of inter- and intra-species contact interactions versus the rotation frequency, for different dipolar mixtures. The interplay of short- and long-range interactions will trigger phenomena including spin waves, ferromagnetic order, and other exotic phases, which will give in turn crucial inputs for related studies in the condensed matter community. Quantized vortices are of relevance for superconductors, thus exploring their dynamics in cold gases enables an accessible laboratory platform for the conception of related quantum technologies. Earlier work extensively focused on static ground-state properties of vortex lattices and binary systems. Applications in device engineering will often require dynamical functionality; hence we shall extend these studies to interesting time dependences. (AU) | |
