Abstract

In this project, the effects of the Co addition on the magnetic properties of the FeNiCuMnSn alloy will be studied using differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, magnetization measurements as a function of the applied field, X-ray diffractometric and potentiodynamic polarization. The study of the effects of the Co addition to this alloy will allow to evaluate the potential application of these materials in thermomagnetic motors.
