Abstract

This work aims to evaluate the surface roughness and Knoop microhardness of the bulk-fill resin. From a silicone matrix, 80 cylindrical specimens will be made. The bulk-fill resins in 4 mm in diameter by 4 mm in height and the conventional resins in 4 mm in diameter and 2 mm in height, which will be divided into 4 experimental groups (n = 20): G1- Filtek Z350 XT (3M ESPE ), G2- Filtek Bulk-fill (3M ESPE), G3- Tetric N-Ceram (Ivoclar -Vivadent), G4-Tetric N-Ceram Bulk-fill (Ivoclar -Vivadent). Surface roughness and Knoop microhardness will be evaluated after completion of all abrasive and / or erosive cycles. The data obtained will be tabulated and submitted to statistical analysis, considering the significance level of 5%.
