Abstract

Founded in the early 1990s, UrbanData-Brasil: Databank on Urban Brazil locates, collects andorganizes bibliographical data, disseminating access to cross-disciplinary and cross-institutionalresearch on Brazil's urban issues. The project is coordinated by Bianca Freire-Medeiros, professorat USP Sociology Dept, and collates more than 16,000 bibliographic entries. Within the contextof the partnership between UrbanData-Brasil and the Center for Metropolitan Studies, theresearch assistant will join the production the electronic catalog Theses and Dissertations onUrban São Paulo (1940-2015).
