Abstract

The psychosocial aspects of the work environment interfere with the worker's physical and mental health and may be associated with multisite pain. Multisite pain is characterized by painful symptoms in more than one region of the body and it is associated with decreased workability. Objective: To verify the association between psychosocial aspects of work and multisite pain among workers. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study with workers from different occupations, such as teachers, administrative technicians, health workers, cleaners, and animal keepers. Psychosocial aspects will be assessed using the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ II-Br). The presence of multisite pain will be identified using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ). Data will be obtained through paper and online forms. Data analysis will be performed descriptively and through the binomial logistic regression analysis using the SPSS program. Expected results: It is expected to find a significant association between psychosocial aspects and the presence of multisite pain.
