Abstract

Introduction: The distribution of Covid-19 cases has been associated with the mobility of people between and within cities. Objective: To investigate the evolution of Covid-19 cases that occurred in Bauru, by health unit and to evaluate the effect of social isolation. Methodology: This cross-sectional analytical observational research study will involve the study of data from the COVID-19 (e-SUS-VE) case reporting system, obtained from the Municipal Health Department. The cases will be related by age, sex, comorbidities and risk factors, race / color, education and clinical evolution. The distribution of cases per health unit in the city will be presented by georeferencing and a correlation will be made between the new cases in the city and the social distance index registered in a non-specific way by the Government of the State of São Paulo. The statistical analysis adopted will be at the significance level p <0.05. Expected results: The expectation regarding the results is based on the possibility of contributing to the planning of actions aimed at controlling the Covid-19 pandemic. (AU)
