Abstract

It is the general objective of this research plan to see how it occurs and what data and conclusions reveals the monitoring carried out by the United Nations (UN) of the 8th Sustainable Development Goal ("2030 Agenda"), alluding to the preservation of Decent Labour combined with economic growth. It is wanted to find out if and how the UN monitors the 8th Sustainable Development Goal, with regard to the protection and promotion of Decent Work (which methodology is used); whether there is and what data are collected by this monitoring so far; whether it is already possible to count on impressions about progress, stagnation or setback in the fulfillment of the 8th Sustainable Development Goal, with regard to the protection and promotion of Decent Labour. The inductive methodology of approach and the historical, monographic, and documentary methodologies of the procedure will be used, as from the prospect, analysis, and systematization of data and conclusions contained in official UN documents or credited or published by it, from 2015 - date of adoption of agenda 2030.
