Abstract

Ever since its beginning, in December 2016, the project "Policies for competitiveness in the pharmaceutical sector: an analysis of the Brazilian experience", led by researcher Elize Massard da Fonseca, has carried out analyzes and important results on policies involving products and services in the Industrial Health Complex in Brazil. Recently the project has strengthened ties with international research and has embraced new participants and new resources, one of which the approval of Fapesp's extraordinary call for research related to the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil (# 2020/05230-8). The results of this work as a whole have, in recent months, expanded its reach, both in the academic and media fields, with significant demand from brazilian and worldwide population for the latter. That is explained by the sudden interest of society's sectors affected by the current health, economical and political crisis. Subjects that were previously little known to the public, such as international government technology transfer agreements for the development and distribution of medicines and vaccines, are now in focus. Considering the current relevance and urgency of the topic, it is essential to develop an efficient communication strategy for the data and reflections generated by these researches. The present project aims to disseminate such findings through: creation and maintenance of a website containing researchers data, writing and publishing of reports and press-releases, organization of events within and outside the academic community.
