Abstract

This research has as a goal, to analyze two ceramics samples from Sambaqui Monte Castelo's Bacabal Phase. The first group is associated with a layer where we can identify several burials while the other isn't. By ceramic analysis, I intend to identify its differences with the goal of establishing or don't intentionality in its depositional location and so help to better understand the cultural changes that happened around 4000 B.P. at the Southwest Amazon.(AU)
