Abstract

Various phenomena point to the existence of Dark Matter, a type of matter that interacts gravitationally but not electromagnetically whose nature remains unknown.In this project, we propose to study in detail the conditions that allow to keep a dark matter candidate with a mass in the MeV range in thermal contact with the standard model. We will focus on the case in which the mediator that connects the visible and dark sectors is heavier than the dark matter.
