Effect of transcranial magnetic stimulation on non-painful symptoms in Fibromyalgia

Abstract

This is an adaptive clinical trial with fibromyalgia patients. It aims to assess the effect of long-term repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (EMR) on the non-painful symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Patients will be randomly allocated to two parallel arms (high dose of EMTr, sham) using adaptive methodology. The study will be conducted in a sequential methodology, the approximate sample size is 80 patients based on Bayesian analysis. (AU)
