Abstract

The objective of this project is to determine the lifetimes of excited states of the 50Cr nuclei, using the Doppler Shift Attenuation Method (DSAM). The excited states of the 50Cr nucleus were populated through the 36Ar + 16O fusion-evaporation reaction, with a beam energy of 115 MeV. The emitted gamma rays were observed by the AGATA gamma-ray spectrometer, installed in the GANIL Laboratory, Caen, France. (AU)
