Abstract

Given the 2020 pandemic context associated with the COVID-19 virus, the following research project aims to identify whether there was adherence by government authorities in Brazil and Argentina to the public policy instruments recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), through 2020. The methodology that investigates the global circulation of policies and the instrumentation of public action will guide this analysis. Using this literature, we aim to identify which public policy instruments these organizations have tried to disseminate domestically and which strategy they have adopted. Also, this literature is helpful to assess whether public authorities have adhered to such instruments in both countries. (AU)
