Abstract

The project is focused on the design and implementation of a cohort study in a partner municipality. The study will collect children's data from their birth onwards and will monitor infants' development of the sample throughout the years. Based on the data collected and results from the different analyses, we expect to identify risk factors for early childhood development, contributing with evidence to support the revision and elaboration of public policies targeting early childhood. Ultimately, our project aims to reduce inequalities and promotion of healthy development for all Brazilian children. (AU)
