Abstract

This scientific initiation project is related to the thematic project FAPESP/ANR "Co-Polis: Social co-production of the city and citizen science - A comparative perspective on working class and precarious neighborhoods in France and in Brazil". Broadly, the project intends to investigate experiences of collaborative practices and participatory planning in popular urban territories, articulating civil society, academia, professionals and intermediary actors, from a dialogical approach between Brazil and France. This initiation is related, in a more specific way, to the follow-up of field research in Vertical Occupations in the center of São Paulo. In addition, during the period of activities, it is intended that the grantee act, in parallel, in the work fronts provided for in the Thematic Project that refer to the "Organization of Bibliographic Collection and work archive" and "Reflective, epistemological and pedagogical practice ", which are, respectively, activities 1 and 6 listed in the schedule.
