Abstract

The study of relativistic heavy-ion collisions is a fundamental tool for understanding and investigating hadronic matter under extreme conditions of temperature and energy density, enabling the study of properties of Quantum Chromodynamics, such as the Confinement of quarks and gluons in hadrons. Recently, theoretical studies have proposed that confinement can be described by the phenomenon of quantum entanglement, establishing that the particle multiplicity measurements and the entanglement entropy are related. This project intends to test this hypothesis for proton-nucleus collisions in order to verify the predictions of the parton entanglement model.
