Abstract

Due to the increase in the emission of carbon in the atmosphere, the temperature has increased, and the problem of the greenhouse effect has intensified, which has harmed crops, with high temperatures, as well as in unevenness and less precipitation. No-tillage cultivation is helpful in helping this problem, since without soil overturning; there is no release of carbon from the soil profile, in addition to reducing evapotranspiration. This management is already more widespread in large crops, but still recent in vegetables, with this, the objective is to evaluate the yield of okra with the predecessor cultivation of vegetable coverings in a system of direct planting of vegetables (SPDH) and in conventional management. The experiment will be in a 4x2 factorial scheme (green manure and fallow x soil management), and will be in a subdivided plot. The plots will consist of green fertilizers (single mucuna; a consortium of 70% mucuna + 30% millet; single millet; fallow) and in the subplots, it will consist of soil management (no-tillage and conventional planting: with soil turning). The characteristics to be evaluated will be: pH, H + Al, Al, P, K, Ca, Mg, Mo, CTC, SB, V%; dry mass of green manures; soil macrofauna; resistance to soil penetration; as for okra, mass, length and diameter of fruit, number of fruits per plant and productivity will also be evaluated, soil temperature and humidity will also be measured. The data will be subjected to analysis of variance and when there is a significant difference, a Tukey test will be applied to the vegetation cover, and a t-test for the planting systems, all at the level of 5% probability.(AU)
