Abstract

This research project is about the relationship between Lacanian psychoanalysis and Law. The object of investigation is restricted to the analysis of three categories assimilated by Louis Althusser de Jacques Lacan (Name of the father, Recognition-Unknown and Double Specular Relationship). The question that is aimed at answering is: "Can these concepts present in the theory of Althusserian ideology help to understand the legal form? If so, what are the possibilities and limits of this approach?". The preliminary hypothesis is that these categories contribute to the explanation of the specific mechanisms of operation of the fundamental pairs of the legal form, namely, the subject of law and the legal ideology. Finally, as for the methodology, it is intended to use the materialist-historical-dialectic method in the process of approximating the aforementioned theoretical contributions to the legal form. (AU)
