Abstract This research project aims at investigating different kinds of non-generic unity Aristotle works with or somehow has to reckon with. These non-generic unities are pervasive to his work and can be found in areas as different as metaphysics, ethics, psychology, friendship, physics, theory of emotions, to give the most prominent cases. Their analysis requires a ample study of their significance in Aristotle s philosophy. One of the goals of this project is to write a book on this topic. (AU) | |
