Abstract

The general objective of this research is to identify the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the health and work conditions of nursing professionals working in the fight against the disease in Brazil. This is exploratory and descriptive research, using quantitative variables to collect data on the object of study. This research will be carried out in the city of São Carlos with all nursing professionals who work to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. Data will be collected through a self-reported questionnaire by the participants, using a validated instrument used in the research "Work Conditions of Health Professionals in the Context of Covid-19", developed by FIOCRUZ and available on the institution's website. The collected data will be entered into a database built-in Excel and transported to the R Program, where t-tests will be performed to compare means and chi-square tests to study the association with categorical data. The variables will be coded by the researcher according to the alternatives of each item to enable statistical analysis. For all comparisons, a significance level of 5% will be adopted. The project will be sent to the Ethics Committee (CEP) of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) for consideration. (AU)
