Abstract

Individuals undergoing lower limb amputation have their mobility and quality of life significantly affected. Rehabilitation and phosphatization aim to reestablish the functional and independent mobility of these people. Therefore, functional evaluation and reevaluation are fundamental to establishing the means, objectives, follow-up parameters, and measurement of the results of the rehabilitation process. The patient-reported outcomes measure specific for the population with lower limb amputation are a way to translate the patient's perception about the different health domains into a quantitative value. The reliability of these instruments must be ensured, since sources of variation can influence their scores, time being one of the most relevant. Thus, it is necessary to ensure that these changes are real and not due to random or systematic variations over time, and this can be analyzed through test-retest reliability studies. Objective: To evaluate the test-retest reliability of the Prosthetic Limb Users Survey of Mobility (PLUS-M") 12-item Short Form Brazilian Portuguese version (PLUS-M/BR-12). Methods: 65 individuals will be selected in a convenience sample, who have undergone surgery for unilateral lower limb amputation and performed rehabilitation and/or received prosthesis through the SUS by prescription and dispensing by CER-HCFMRP-USP. The PLUS-M/BR-12 will be applied in two moments, by telephone call, by the same evaluator, with a two-week interval. Data analysis will be performed using the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) with a 95% confidence interval, and the SPSS software version 20 will be used.(AU)
