Abstract

During the first six years of life, children need to develop some important cognitive-linguistic skills that will be the pillars of later school success. Aims: Elaborate and verify the educacional effectiveness of a Stimulation Program with Metaphonological Skills and Alphabetical Principle for preschoolers from 4 to 5 years old. Method: This study will be developed in two phases, phase 1 of which aims to elaborate the Stimulation Program with Metaphonological Skills and Alphabetical Principle that will be carried out from the literature review, in order to verify which studies used stimulation programs with these skills, as well as their activities and type of stimuli used. At this stage, a pilot study will be carried out with 20 preschoolers to verify the feasibility of applying the program developed. Phase 2 aims to verify the applicability of the Stimulation Program with Metaphonological Skills and Alphabetical Principle in 60 preschoolers of kindergarten, of both sexes, aged from 4 years to 5 years and 11 months, distributed in an experimental and control. The results will be statistically analyzed aiming to verify the intra and intergroup differences studied for the variables of interest to verify the effectiveness of the program elaborated in this study.
