Abstract

The project aims to investigate the audiovisual as a methodological tool for the construction of ethnographic narratives, especially in the field of ethnomusicology. To this end, it proposes a theoretical and methodological reflection on the relationship between ethnographic film and ethnomusicological research, based on filmic and bibliographic references and the analysis of the researcher's own audiovisual production, undertaken since her doctorate in social anthropology (1999-2004) up until the present in the thematic project "Local musicking: new pathways for ethnomusicology".
