Abstract

The research field of CH bond functionalization has been growing over the last few years, mainly due to the attractiveness of the possibility of chemo- and sitioselectively oxidizing CH bonds with high yields in late-stage synthesis of organic molecules. Many catalysts were developed recently, however there are still several challenges not overcome by this catalyst, such as incompatibility with substrates with functional groups such as olefins and aromatic rings and the oxidation of methyl groups. In view of this scenario, the present work presents a synthesis proposal of a catalyst class to solve some of the mentioned challenges. (AU)
