Abstract This project aims to understand the relations that constitute the main aggregating element of what was conventionally called Fulas of Gabu. In an arena in which each actor has a goal that moves him and in which each occupies different positions, I will seek to pursue elements instrumentalized by these actors, who compose and relate to the Fulas of Gabu, and observe the social position of the subjects, whether they have the privilege of narrating the group's memories (griots, régulos, religious leaders), whether they have a power linked to scholarship (reports by colonial authorities, researchers) to understand the motivations of their reports, which have been used in the construction of a narrative that exalts the positions of power of an elite Fula, the Fuladu. | |
