Abstract

The purpose of this project is to study the reuse of liquid and solid waste (washing wastewater and fruit peels) from the food industry through the development of an integrated treatment and analysis system using Anaerobic Digestion technology. Anaerobic digestion technology can be applied for reuse, treatment and recovery of water and waste while generating biogas (biohydrogen/methane). In order to evaluate the recovery of waste, it is proposed to set up an experimental unit with stirred reactor, mesophilic conditions, of the dry type (30% total solids), batch regime that will allow studies of operational parameters, gas composition and technical aspects -economic.
