Abstract

This research project is focused on the development of a set of tools for simulating quantum algorithms on classical and quantum computers by undergrad students. The basic concepts of quantum computation and quantum mechanics will be treated and discussed, as well as the implementation of quantum gates and the Grove and Shor search algorithm. With the implementation of this project, it is expected that important quantum concepts, such as measurement, many-body wave functions, and angular momentum, will be deepened as well as the study of important advanced topics in physics and engineering.(AU)
