Abstract

This research aims to explore the authorial performance of the Lispector's narrators in her work's last phase, which we will name a hora do lixo: Via Crucis do corpo, A hora da estrela and Um sopro de vida. For that matter we are going to traverse the crises that literature underwent throughout the XXth century, such as the crisis of representation and the crisis of the author, running along with the author's return as a turning point to a possibility of the writing of the "self". Furthermore, we aim to comprehend the very diverse ways in which Clarice Lispector manifests herself in the crafting of her works and the inscription of the "self" in it, always looking for her authorial performance as the main aesthetic device to do so. In sum, this is a project that seeks to subscribe Clarice Lispector in what we call "hinge criticism" which means it is a path where we are going to compare different studies in Literary Theory whether they take the "author" as an important factor for the literary analysis or whether they do not, assuming the aesthetical phenomenon in Lispector's work as a result of a complex system of crises.(AU)
