Abstract

Mobile health (mHealth) applications (apps) offer the potential to assist in the self-management of workers' health and well-being. Objective: systematically evaluate the availability of applications aimed at the health and well-being of workers in Brazilian online stores and evaluate the engagement, user interface, experience, and information quality of the available applications. Methods: a systematic review will be carried out on mobile applications developed or updated between 2020-2022 available on the AppStore and Google Play in Brazil, related to the health and well-being of workers. The review will follow recommendations proposed by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) and the Cochrane collaboration. The review protocol will be prospectively registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO). The information and characteristics of the applications will be systematized. The evaluation of the quality of the applications will be carried out through the use of the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS).Expected results: it is expected to identify the applications aimed at the health and well-being of workers available in Brazilian online stores, describe their main characteristics, and evaluate the quality and functionality of these applications.(AU)
