Abstract

Cancer is one of the most common causes of death in the world and its incidence is constantly growing, currently in second place in most countries. The treatment of this disease has several possibilities, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgical removal. In chemotherapy, the drugs used can be organic compounds or coordination complexes. This study proposes the synthesis and evaluation of the anticancer activity of nitrosyl cyanoferrate complex coordinated trans-cinnamaldehyde-N(4)-methyl-thiosemicarbazone against human cells lines ATCC-CRL-9446 (melanoma) and normal human cell line (ATCC -PCS-201-012, skin fibroblast).(AU)
