Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Primary Hyperparathyroidism (PHTP) is an endocrine disorder characterized by the concomitant elevation of serum calcium and parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels resulting from autonomous production by the parathyroid glands. Its main clinical features are nephrolithiasis and reduced bone mineral density. OBJECTIVE: To retrospectively evaluate clinical and laboratory characteristics of patients with Primary Hyperparathyroidism followed at a kidney stone outpatient clinic. METHODOLOGY: The study will consist of a retrospective analysis of medical records of patients with PHPT treated between 2000 and 2022.
