Abstract

In the second half of the 20th-century Quantum Field Theory (QFT) was established as the correct formalism for describing the relativistic quantum realm. This project has as its main goal to study basic concepts of QFT. In addition, the student will apply these concepts for the computation of the muon anomalous magnetic moment in a simple extension of the standard model.
