Abstract

The project studies symbolic disputes and their respective power relations in the Brazilian economic policy space, with a focus on public finance actions. It is inspired by Pierre Bourdieu's sociology (especially the concepts of state, field, doxa, and belief). To this end, we will make use of several research protocols, namely: the lexicometric analysis of the discourses of economic policy agents (politicians, administrators, advisors, and specialists) positioned in key institutions in the elaboration and implementation; the identification and elaboration of the prosopography of efficient individuals of this specific space. The data will be treated from the economic sociology, discipline that will help us to understand the social production of the current state economic doing.
