Abstract

This project proposes a historical and systematic study of the relations established by Immanuel Kant between the concepts of logic, method and metaphysics in his works published between the years 1760 and 1770. Both the preliminary characterisation of these relations and the form of historical appropriation linked to the systematic interests of understanding the development of Kantian Philosophy, which will be explored later in the research, are pointed out in the project. Besides presenting the research, it is also shown how it requires dealing with the relation of Kant and various philosophical and scientific traditions, whose authors will be studied as sources, in particular German metaphysicians and logicians, such as Wolff and Crusius. The historical and systematic thread presented here consists, therefore, in following the transformation of the relationship between the concepts of logic, method and metaphysics throughout the works of the period, which are presented in this project in order to introduce and justify the study, also providing the work schedule and the secondary bibliography involved.
