Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) promote structural and functional changes that reflect in the modification of the behavior of variables related to cardiovascular function, such as the double product (DP), mean arterial pressure (MAP) and pulse pressure (PP), whose responses are associated with the clinical condition of these individuals. rehabilitation programs for cardiovascular disease (CRP) are essential for these individuals, however, the performance of physicians in these programs is related to the occurrence of signs and symptoms. Objectives: Analyze if different values of hemodynamic variables (PD, MAP, and PP) lead to different responses in the occurrence of signs and/or symptoms during a CRP. Also, as a secondary objective, to determine whether there is a correlation between the appearance of signs and/or symptoms and the values of these variables. Materials and methods: It will be an observational longitudinal cohort study, where they will be analyzed, at least 16 individuals regularly seen in a PRC. Data collection will be carried out in two stages: in the first stage, the individuals will have their medical records analyzed, and they will perform an interview and a clinical evaluation for indirect determination of heart rate and blood pressure arterial, which will be used to calculate the DP, MAP, and PP; in the second stage, there will be observation/identification of signs and symptoms during 24 PRC sessions. For statistical analysis, the normality of the data will be tested (Shapiro-Wilk) and the means of the groups, which will be determined by the medians of the hemodynamic variables analyzed, will be compared by the Student's T test for unpaired data or the Mann-Whitney test. Possible correlations will be determined by Pearson's or Spearman's test, depending on the normality of the data. And when confirmed, linear regression will be applied. The level of significance will be established by 5%.(AU)
