Abstract

The objective of this project is to investigate how forest peoples, especially rural communities and riverine populations, have used specific practices and actions to face the pandemic, and how the strategies adopted by these social groups - outside the established institutional circuits - have been important instruments for the resumption of their ways of life after the events caused by the pandemic of COVID-19. In methodological terms, the research makes use of qualitative social research instruments, such as semi-structured interviews and social trajectory reconstruction. (AU)
