Abstract

Different biological processes occur at the nanometer scale, in this way, nanomedicine aims to develop solutions that act at this level in order to develop therapeutic agents, contrast for exams, among others, that are capable of impacting a certain location directly, without influencing other cells. . Thus, there are several studies that show the benefits of using nanoparticles as an antibacterial and antitumor agent, among others. In addition, phototherapy is constantly being used, as it is a minimally invasive and effective modality that provides a convenient method in the treatment of tumors. Thus, the present project will seek to analyze the cytotoxic profile of some compounds such as hydroxyapatite, curcumin and silver tungstate when exposed to LED light. For this, different methodologies of cytotoxicity analysis will be applied in order to obtain consistent results.
