Abstract

In this project we intend to make an identification of the notion of empirical adequacy with the notion of quasi-truth, throughout an appropriate extension in their original formulations. The relevance of such an identification lies in the fact that it presents itself as an answer to criticisms directed towards the semantical approach as well as to the notion of empirical adequacy. Nevertheless, our attention will be focused on the formal aspects of this identification, therefore it will be conducted under a model-theoretic perspective. (AU)
