Abstract

Mobility as one of the attributes of urban life, as a possibility of articulation or also of distancing between citizens, depending on how urban mobility makes living in cities possible. With the development of the research (11/2018 - 09/2022), the relevance of the routes home - work - home was evidenced from the interviews that the team has carried out with urban residents of the cities surveyed. In addition, the context of pandemic isolation experienced between 2020 and 2021 indicated possibilities identified as "active mobility", especially with the use of bicycles (López, 2020; Soares, 2020; Barbiero, 2020), which should deserve more attention, which goes to the meeting the principles that guide the first "National Urban Mobility Policy" (PNMU, law 12,587 of 01/03/2012). It is in the convergence between these two aspects that this Scientific Initiation Activities Plan aims to contribute to the objectives of the FragUrb Thematic Project, directing its attention to the cities of Chapecó/SC, Presidente Prudente/SP and Ribeirão Preto/SP.
