Abstract

Contemporary work, particularly in Brazil, has undergone several organizational changes, as a result of the precariousness of bonds, the introduction of technological changes, and the increase in work in the service sector. These changes have been reflected in the increase in work-related mental illnesses. Objectives: to understand the impacts of new forms of work organization and management on mental health from the theoretical principles of Psychopathology and Psychodynamics of work. Method: theoretical research based on the principles of psychopathology and psychodynamics of work, to be carried out from the empirical material of the action research "Work and mental health: the work of prosecutors and servants of The National Treasury Attorney's Office"; of bibliographic research; and discussions with qualified researchers. Expected results: advance in the construction of explanatory theories for the new forms of pathogenic suffering, mental illness and in the construction of mental health at work. (AU)
