Abstract

This research project abroad will investigate, theoretically and practically, the relationship between formation and creation processes associated with the Performing Arts, especially with regard to acting, in order to understand its relational, ethical, aesthetic and political implications. It represents a predominantly laboratory stage of studies already in progress and will be developed further after its conclusion. Establishing as a research horizon the articulation between the aspects mentioned in the title of this project, which define, in turn, the contours of what is conceived in this case as "acting in the world", a network of actions is proposed, which involves a collaboration consistent international. This is a project that will be developed at the Center for Theater Studies at the University of Lisbon (CET), with the collaboration of the Research Group in Performative Studies at the University of Minho (CEHUM/NIEP). Among the assumptions that permeate this research, the one that perceives the artistic making, and more specifically the processes of action, in its instances of formation and creation, stands out as a dimension that operates, on the one hand, as a catalyst for already constituted knowledge and on the other as a producer of singular knowledge. The central axis of this proposal is structured from the establishment of experiences, which are manifested through dynamic processes of subjectivation, memory production and modes of existence, processes that generate, in turn, specific implications, such as decoloniality, through its multidirectional effects.
