Abstract

Violence related to nursing work is clearly a theme of expressive magnitude, but still underexplored nationally and internationally. The effects on the life of a worker that experiences such situation in his workplace are countless, including emotional and physical consequences, also harming the working process itself. Thus, this study aimed to comprehend the violence suffered by nurses, through the perspective of the workers. It consists in a qualitative research that will be performed in different spots of Healthcare Network, with no geographic cutouts, conducted with nursing professionals that had previously made part of the research entitled "Association between psychosocial aspects and sleeping characteristics with musculoskeletal symptoms and depression in healthcare workers - longitudinal study" and stated to have suffered any offensive behaviour at work. Data will be acquired in individual interviews through Google Meet, which will be recorded, transcribed and analysed through thematic content analysis, and guided by a script of previously structured questions. All ethical procedures of human being researches will be respected. With this research, it is expected to evaluate the theme from the perspective of those who experience it, offering better subsidies for reality comprehension and supporting the decision-making of institutions, aiming to protect the workers and mitigate violence.
