Abstract

This research project intends to restart and extend previous investigations that have been interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic for a short period in Barcelona/Spain in 2019 and that had previous support from Fapesp with a BEP grant (Process 2019/20275-0). The initial proposal was to understand how relations between body and city were established from transfeminine experiences, which were woven through circulation between different landscapes and cities of different scales, at national and transnational level. From new investigations and deepening, I intend, at this moment, to continue the work started in Barcelona, Spain, institutionally linked to the Autonomous University of Barcelona, in order to understand the central issues that permeate the transfeminist epistemologies, as in the Spanish territory so in Brazil. Thus, the goal is to develop a theoretical and methodological reflection that gives contours and visibility to a "transfeminist thought" that can collaborate with anthropological theories on gender, intersectionality, embodied knowledge and implicated anthropology.
