Abstract

With a large part of the biodiversity of mammals represented by rodents, this group of mammals has been the focus of different studies that seek to better understand its diversification processes. However, it is still unclear how incomplete taxonomic sampling, more robust phylogenetic hypotheses and geography can influence the inference of these diversification processes. Thus, the present proposal seeks to make use of genomic data (Ultraconserved Elements - UCEs -) and modern analytical approaches to identify macroevolutionary changes in three families of Neotropical rodents (Sciuridae, Cricetidae, Echimyidae).
