Abstract

The process of gametogenesis takes place in sexual reproduction, where the formation of male and female gametes occurs. Through embryology, each stage of this process of formation of embryos and fetuses can be studied. This has as main objective to analyze the morphology and morphometry of the gonads of males and females in the middle third of the gestational period, differing the cellular layers of tissues. To carry out this project, fetuses of dogs will be collected in the middle third of the follow-up of the institutional ethics committee, they will be dissected like the gonads, and all metric procedures such as weight, volume and measurements will be carried out , in the sequence as they will be processed through of histological techniques and domic methods will be applied to quantify their structures. It is expected that the knowledge of the basic areas of the biology of this species can come to add to several areas such as physiology, animal reproduction and pathology of the male and female reproductive system of dogs. From the third of pregnancy studies, the average proportion in differentiated cells and intestinal can be determined.
