Abstract

The aim is to establish collaboration between two laboratories (LAPEQ-FE-USP and ICAR-ENS-Lyon) in order to extend the development of multimedia database related to classroom research, as well as to initiate studies on the construction of indicators of Science Education from categories on perception of science and technology and interaction in different scales of time and environments. The collaboration will result in the insertion of LAPEQ in the research network of French universities that share the ViSA database, as well as a set of techniques for recording teaching and learning situations in video and analysis framework that involve the use of software and automation of the analysis. Another expected outcome is to gain insight into image and copyright issues related to sharing sensitive data for research and teaching purposes. The results of this stage of the research will be useful for the creation of a similar Brazilian network. The construction of indicators aims to develop techniques for manual and automated analysis of categories such as proxemics, in order to initiate correlation studies with patterns of teacher performance in the classroom. Furthermore, we will continue the studies on construction of indicators from constructs on scientific and digital culture extracted from questionnaires treated with multivariate analysis techniques and statistical modeling.
